The Obama campaign announced today it will launch African Americans for Obama in Nevada on Wednesday night. Floyd Mayweather, the International Welterweight Boxing Champion, and Mike Strautmanis, Senior Counsel to the Obama campaign, will host the Las Vegas launch event at the Ice House Lounge. African Americans for Obama will work with the campaign to reach out to African American communities across Nevada to support Barack Obama’s growing grassroots movement for change.
Floyd Mayweather and Mike Strautmanis will be joined by Nevada Steering Committee members State Senator Steven Horsford, Assemblyman Kelvin Atkinson and Rose McKinney-James.
